Best Shopping Destinations in Asia and Where to Stay

When it comes to shopping, nowhere in the world does it quite like Asia. Whether you’re looking for cute little gadgets, fun toys, trinkets, cheap designer clothes or high end electronics, Asia has it all. Shopping in Asia is very different than shopping in the western world and is definitely not an experience to be missed. When shopping in Asia, remember to negotiate. Prices are almost never what they seem, especially in street markets. It’s not uncommon to be able to get the price down by 20% to 50%. With that said, here are some of the best places in Asia to do your shopping. Bangkok, Thailand If you’re looking for creative and unique clothing, look no further than Bangkok. Funny T-Shirts go for as little as $3, DVDs can be purchased for $2 and you can get all kinds of jewelry and clothing everywhere you look. For the tourist experience, hit up Khao San Road, the central tourism hub. For a bit more of the local shopping

Asia; home to fascinating culture, centuries old history and some downright bizarre foods! A wander through any market, side street or local butchers practically anywhere in Asia soon throws up an intriguing assortment of dishes ready to be sampled. Question is, how brave are you? Read on to whet your appetite. Durian; you’ll smell it long before you set eyes on it! It’s described as smelling akin to rotting flesh but don’t let that put you off, everyone should try it at least once in their life. The durian fruit is large, about the size and shape of a rugby ball with sharp spiky skin. Street side market sellers prepare and sell it across Southeast Asia, especially in Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia. Don’t expect to find it on your hotel menu (or try to take one in to your hotel) as it’s forbidden. And for a neat (if slightly mean trick) take some durians sweets home with you for your kids or colleagues!                      ...

From Ate Jen's house in Paranaque we arrived at NAIA Terminal 3 at 2PM together with our niece Jazz, Nanay (Mely B.) and Tatay (Joe B.). After paying for travel tax, we checked in our 70kgs luggage. Apple and Joemel Mely B. Joe B. and Jazz While waiting for departure we walked around to check for hotspot area, err the free WiFi didn't work!
