Walt Disney World Resort, Yellowstone National Park, Hershey Highmeadow, Rogue River RV Park, Jellystone Park Camp Resort, Top Destinations, RV, Vacation, Vacation Ideas, Top List,
Have you been putting some thought into the kind of vacation that you want to take this summer? You know, as more people are becoming conscious about how they spend their money, there are lots of individuals who are foregoing planes and hotels for traveling in an RV. That's because it's the best of both worlds: you can see the sights as you live in the same space that is taking you to various destinations.

If that sounds inviting, but you're not totally sold (just yet), we have five great ideas below that are just perfect for an RV vacation no matter what the age or size of the group going on the trip:

Walt Disney World Orlando.

Being that one of the best places to go during an RV vacation is an RV campground, some of our recommendations will be centered around that theme. If you have your kids or grandchildren with you, consider taking them to one of the campsites at the Fort Wilderness Resort. Not are they close to the theme park, but they also sit on over 750 acres of grassland.

One place that is considered to be a traditional vacation spot for those who take road trips is Yellowstone. That's because it's hailed as being the top national park in the United States. So, if you're close to Montana (or you don't mind making the drive), you're bound to have a once in a lifetime experience. Being that live game lives in the park, you might even see a bear or two.

Hershey Highmeadow Campground.

Who doesn't like chocolate? If you choose this particular campground, you'll only be a few miles away from the Hershey Amusement Park (in Hershey, Pennsylvania). The campground sits on 55 acres and there are all kind of

Hear the words 'Dubai' and 'gourmet dining' in the same sentence and you'll probably automatically think of swanky, expensive restaurants that'll leave your wallet wincing and your bank account bereft. And, to be perfectly honest, a lot of the time you'd be right - but what I've recently discovered is that there are actually some fantastic and affordable gourmet eateries if you know where to look.

Here are a few of the best.

Al Nafoorah

Dubai, Gourmet Dining, Restaurant, Restaurant Reviews, Top List, Travel Guide

Where: Jumeirah Emirates Towers

If you want to get a real taste of Arabia, Al Nafoorah is a great place to come that won't break the bank. It's known for its authentic Lebanese mezze platters (you can choose both hot and cold dishes), but it's got a reputation for more than its decent-value, delicious food.

One of the reasons for its popularity is its cosy atmosphere, so it's great if you fancy quite a relaxed meal. It's also got a nice al fresco seating area, which is well worth checking out.

Al Hambra

Dubai, Gourmet Dining, Restaurant, Restaurant Reviews, Top List, Travel Guide

Where: Al Qasr Hotel, Madinat Jumeirah

Now, when you dine out in Dubai, one of the first things you're likely to notice is there's an awful lot of choice in terms of types of cuisine. So, if you're happy to go international rather than sticking to more local dishes, you'll find there are some real gems to try out that don't carry the city's characteristically high price tag.

Al Hambra is one such restaurant. Serving up authentic Spanish food, it's an unbeatable place to go if you want a taste of Mediterranean fare. It does excellent tapas and paella (as you'd expect!), as well as a mean sangria. Usually

Budget, Budget Travel, Travel, Travel Tips, Travel Guide,

When you're getting ready to take a big trip, you've definitely got a lot on your plate. There are a ton of different things that can go into a big vacation, especially when you've got a lot of people that you're going to be bringing with you. Traveling by yourself is definitely a blast. Seeing a brand new part of the world and experiencing something completely different in the way of culture can be a very eye-opening experience. When you've got an entirely family, though, leaving them behind isn't always an option. Taking everybody on a vacation can get to be super expensive. If you're a smart traveler, though, you will always make sure that you travel with a budget. Most of us have to basically surrender our incomes when we take a trip, so you should make sure you're not spending too much money. It's no fun to be in the red when you get back from vacation. When you want to make sure you're not going to spend too much money on vacation, you will want to make yourself a great travel budget. Something like this can make it easier for you to be frugal. We'll talk about how you can most effectively make yourself a great travel budget, so that your trip is very sensibly-priced.

1. Do Your Research. Before any trip, it's a really smart idea to do some research, and learn a bunch about the area that you're going to be visiting. If you want to travel on a pretty serious budget, though, you will absolutely need to do your research, and a pretty good amount of it. You'll want to get familiar with your destination before you go, so that you can know how to save money and be frugal while you're there. Figure out which spots to avoid and how

The Deep South is a fascinating corner of the US to explore as part of a small group, and one place that's bound to be on your itinerary is the Jack Daniel's distillery in Lynchburg, Tennessee. The town might be small, but I think it's well worth stopping off at.

You'll more than likely pass through Lynchburg on your way to Nashville from Atlanta, so if the distillery is somewhere you've always wanted to go, make sure it's on the itinerary of the small group tour around America you book.

Below are five of the highlights of booking an excursion around this top attraction.

1. It's informative

I love being taken around places of interest by a tour guide, as I like to come away from an attraction with more knowledge so I can tell my friends and family back home all about it. At the Jack Daniel's distillery, you'll have the benefit of an experienced guide on hand to tell you about the history of the brand.

2. You walk around outdoors

I'm not one for staying in one room while someone talks at me for ages, and the tour around the whiskey hub takes you around different parts of the distillery, as well as outdoors. This means you're not stood still for long periods of time, so you truly feel as though you're seeing a wide range of things.

I'd definitely recommend you wear comfy flat shoes, just so you don't struggle on any uneven terrain that might be around. With the tours lasting for more than an hour, you don't want to have to sit down because your feet ache!

3. You can sample the whiskey

In the past, the tour focused just on the history of the brand and how the drink is made, but it's since been revamped

Vacation, Do's and Don'ts, Vacation Ideas, Travel, Travel Tips, Travel 101,

If you have ever been on vacation, then you know how easy it can be to over-pack, but over-packing can have many downsides. For one, it can be very expensive to take extra bags on your flight, and if you are traveling in a road vehicle, extra items can take up a lot of space. Plus, it can get tough to carry too many items with you. Next time you take a vacation, avoid packing the following four items.

Extra Toiletries

People tend to pack plenty of shampoo and soap for each trip member, but if you are going on a family vacation, you don't need to give everyone their own set of toiletries. In fact, it can often be simpler to simply buy toiletries at your destination so that you don't have to worry about what you can and can't bring on your flight. Additionally, almost all hotels feature complimentary toiletries, and if there isn't enough soap in your room, you can always ask the front desk for another bar.

Large Baby Items

Many people think that they need to bring along their child's stroller or their portable crib, but what a lot of people

Congratulations! You’re officially engaged to be married at a later date and time. If you’ve decided that that later date and time will take place in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, you should know that this city can be a great place to hold nuptials if you make the right preparations in advance. This article will show you how to do just that.

How to Plan a Wedding in Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Steel City

Time of Year

The first thing you have to figure out is when you and your future spouse will hold your Pittsburgh nuptials. This is important as Pittsburgh weather isn’t nearly as idyllic as that of the West coast states. Whether you decide to have a winter, fall, spring, summer or spring wedding can have a great effect on events.
Spring and fall in Pittsburgh are among the calmer moments in the area. Generally, it’s neither too hot nor too cold. If you’re planning a wedding on a breezy Saturday in April or holding early September nuptials, know that the only weather issues you’ll have to worry about is rain. Watch the weather reports in the days leading up to the big day!

According to residents, summers in Pittsburgh are known to be hot and humid. While this would be an issue if you’re planning on holding the ceremony outside, a simple remedy for an excruciatingly humid day would be to hold the wedding inside of a hotel.

Even those who are not lifelong residents of Pittsburgh know about their harsh and unforgiving winters. Needless to say, Pittsburgh winters don’t make for prime wedding days. If you’re dead set on having a winter wedding, hotels in

Airport, Car Parking, Terminal, Shuttle Services, Trip, Travel Guide,

When it comes to parking at Heathrow, there are plenty of different options available to suit a wide range of budgets and personal preferences.

Firstly, on-site car parking is one of the most convenient options, given the car park's proximity to the terminal. You can book direct with the airport which often represents the best prices, but bear in mind that availability quickly runs out and as space becomes limited, the prices continue to go up - so if you want to book close to the terminal,

When you're enjoying your college years, you don't always have a ton of money to do awesome things like travel and see the world. The thing is, a lot of students definitely realize that they're not going to have a lot of time to do stuff like this once they've graduated. If you're contending with a full-time class load, this idea might seem a little bit laughable. It's true, though, that once you graduate college, you're likely to find yourself enjoying a lot less free time than you had when you were pursuing your higher education. Once you've graduated and are responsible for making the kind of money that can pay for things like rent and groceries on a monthly basis, you don't usually wind up having the kind of free time that lets you get out and see the world in a serious way. Traveling as a student is a really popular solution, but when you're doing something like this, you're definitely going to want all the help you can possibly get.

Thankfully, just about everyone carries around some kind of smartphone or tablet computer with them these days. If you're a student and you're getting ready to do some serious traveling abroad, you might want to hop into your application store and check out some of the following useful apps.

When you're in a foreign country, it's more than likely that you're not going to be familiar with the local weather patterns. Furthermore, when we're on vacation, we don't typically have ways that we can conveniently or easily adjust the things that we're wearing. This means that if you make the wrong choice when you leave for the day's sightseeing, you could wind up seriously regretting it. Get yourself an application that will help you know exactly what the weather is going to be like in your area. AccuWeather is a great application that can help you by giving you an hourly weather prediction, and WeatherBug is another favorite for this type of functionality.

Apps, Abroad, Study Abroad, Students, Traveling, Skype, Viber, Technology, AccuWeather, Weatherbug,

Phone calls can be pretty expensive when you're in another country, as your US-based mobile service might not carry over quite so readily. When you're checking out a new country abroad, you want to make sure you've got a way to connect with your friends and family back home. An application like Vonage Mobile, Skype, or Viber will

When you're traveling, there are a lot of important things for which you're responsible. Taking a trip and going to see a new part of the world is always an exciting thing and can definitely be one of the most memorable experiences in your lifetime. Any traveler will tell you, however, that there are also a lot of moving parts that come with taking a trip to a new country, and there are a lot of expenses that come along with such an experience, as well. One of the things that travelers often find themselves considering is travel insurance. There are plenty of ways that an individual can wind up incurring some serious costs while on vacation, and travel insurance is often designed to protect you from having to take a serious financial hit if this winds up being the case. We'll talk about five ways that you can make sure you're not spending money that you don't really need to spend when it comes to travel insurance. With these strategies in mind, you can make sure you're saving a bit of money and enjoying your vacation that much more in the process.

Travel Insurance, Travel Guide, Ontario, Canada

1. Don't Use Booking Websites to Opt In for Insurance. If you're a fan of using the Internet to book your travel arrangements, you probably use a service like Orbitz or something similar. Many of these great websites help travelers save a lot of money on their transportation arrangements, but they almost always give you an option to opt in for some travel insurance. Avoid this at all costs. It's going to cost you a lot more money than you'd wind up spending if you used a comparison engine to find the best insurance options for you and your trip.

2. Don't Insure Refundable Costs. There are plenty of costs that come with travel upon which you can get a complete refund. Your airfare, for example, will almost definitely be compensated in some way should something

When planning your next vacation, chances are the same sorts of places come to mind. If you're looking for culture, most would recommend Rome or London. If food is what you're after, New York City and Paris should be on your list. For beautiful beaches there's Hawaii, Mexico and a huge list of gorgeous, remote islands. All of these are fantastic, and certainly well worth consideration. But have you ever thought about a trip to Iceland? The name alone is enough to chill most people's bones and scare you off. But this temperate nation is filled with an astounding mix of natural and man-made sights that you won't find anywhere else. The majority of visitors to Iceland come from Europe or Australia, but Americans have begun to explore this country more frequently. If you're ready for something different, plan a trip that takes you to these five must-see attractions in Iceland.

Iceland, Travel, Travel Ideas, Best Attractions, Top List, Top Destinations, Vacation, Northern Lights, Gullfoss
Northern Lights source
First up is the Northern Lights, a truly one-of-a-kind wonder. You will have to brave the chill for this one, as the northern lights can only be seen during the winter months between September and March. If you want to hedge your bets plan your trip for one end of that timeframe or the other. You won't be disappointed. It's a multicolored natural light display that you'll stare at completely awestruck until the bitter chill forces you back inside by the fire.

If your interests run a bit more cosmopolitan than that, check out Iceland's largest city, Reykjavik. More than 60% of the population of the country reside inside this city, although you wouldn't get that feeling when visiting. It still has that small town feel, with a quaint arts district and world-class museums to keep you busy during the days. But head out at night for incredible restaurants and a party scene that rivals that of much larger international cities.

When you need a break from the craziness of the city, get yourself some rest and relaxation at the Blue Lagoon. This is probably the top tourist spot in Iceland, and one trip there will make the reasons quite obvious. It's a natural geothermal pool, heated by the earth itself. The steaming water extends more than 6,000 feet down, and the mineral-rich water is fantastic for your skin. It's a blue like no water you've ever seen, and spending the day floating around with dozens of other half naked folks, surrounded by snowy mountains will give you the type of spa

Airport, Save, Planning a Trip, Travel Tips
Big trips are very exciting, but they also come with a pretty huge amount of preparation and planning. They're expensive, too, and when you find yourself preparing to take off on a giant adventure, there are a lot of moving parts that you're going to have to make sure get taken care of properly. As those expenses start to pile up, it can be nice to feel like you're saving money in just about any way that you possibly can. It just so happens that there are a lot of ways that the savvy traveler can shave a few bucks off just about any trip. One of the best places to save some money is on the always-expensive airport parking situation. We'll talk about five great tips that'll help you avoid spending money that you didn't really need to part with in the first place.

1. Have a Friend Drive You. It never hurts to rely on the kindness of your closest pals to give you a ride to the airport. If you know you're going to be gone for an extended period of time, and don't want to pay exorbitant fees to simply leave your car sitting somewhere, it might be a good idea to call up a friend and ask if you can score a ride to the airport. This will likely be free, but even if you throw your friend a few bucks for gas, it'll likely be way less expensive than paying for airport parking.

2. Take a Taxi. Even a taxi (which typically isn't the cheapest way to go anywhere that is more than a couple of miles away) can be cheaper than paying for a week or two of airport parking. Do your research a little bit in advance and see how you can get yourself the most affordable rate, so your taxi fare doesn't put you into the red before you've even left the airport.

3. Hire a Shuttle. Even cheaper than taxis are shuttles, which can pick you up right at your house and deliver

Business travelers need to be able to compute on the go. Work doesn't stop when you're out of the office--in fact it will probably start to move even faster while your hands are full. If you're going to keep up, you'll need a good laptop for remote working. When you go shopping for a business travel computer, be sure to look for these important features.

1. Battery Life

Nothing is worse than getting into your work while you're on the road, only to be met by a low battery warning just as you're about to make a breakthrough. Avoid the hassle of losing important work and wasting time at charging stations by finding a laptop with long battery life from the start. Remember that manufacturer claims are not always accurate, so look for reviews from actual users when you start shopping for laptops.

2. USB Ports

The USB port is arguably one of the most important technological innovations of the past several years. Dozens of external utilities now use USB connections--everything from an optical drive to a memory storage device can connect using the same universal port. The new USB 3.0 does the same job, but allows for even greater speed and backwards compatibility. For a laptop, this means that several USB ports are necessary for optimal performance. Every external device that plugs into your computer will take up at least one port. Look for a laptop that has at least 3 or 4 USB outlets.

3. Light Weight

Travel, Gadgets, Laptop, Business Travel, Travel Tips, Travel Laptops, MacBook Air, Ultrabook

You don't want to lug a huge, heavy laptop around while you're traveling, especially when your laptop bag is the one piece of luggage that will be staying with you at all times. Look for a computer that is compact and lightweight. Windows users will want to check out the Ultrabook series, while Mac lovers will gravitate towards the Macbook Air offerings. Both are ultra-portable laptop offerings, often weighing under 3 lbs and taking up little more space than a
